Old Silver Beach

Quaker Road, Falmouth, MA 02540
A crowded summer day at Old Silver Beach in Falmouth, Cape Cod.

The most popular beach in Falmouth, Old Silver Beach features soft white sand, warm calm water, and full facilities with snack bar. The beach is divided into two sections by a jetty-lined inlet to the marsh across the street. The northern section is serviced by a parking lot that is restricted to resident passholders. The southern section has a larger parking lot that is open to the public for a fee. Both beaches can get very crowded during peak season and the lots often fill up, so make sure to show up early during busy weekends. Arrive after 5pm to avoid parking fees and catch the sunset over Buzzards Bay.
