If you’re looking for a break from saltwater beaches look no further than Falmouth’s only freshwater beach, Grew’s Pond in Goodwill Park. In addition to the shaded beach area, the park features walking trails, picnic areas, volleyball and a playground. And best of all, parking is free. Ignore your GPS if it tries to take you through the gates on Route 28, they’re almost always locked. Use the main entrance to the park on Gifford Street instead.
