Scusset Beach
Scusset Beach Road, Sandwich, MA 02563
Located on the Scusset Beach State Reservation on the western shore of the Cape Cod Canal, Scusset beach is a popular beach featuring full facilities, playground, volleyball and other activities. Walk all the way to the eastern edge of the beach to watch from the jetty as ships navigate the Canal, or drop a fishing line in the water and see if you can pull out one of the huge striped bass the area is known for.
The beach is part of the Massachusetts State Parks system, so Sandwich beach passes aren’t valid at Scusset. The good news is that parking in the massive lot is relatively easy and inexpensive, with the option to pay by app for daily parking or purchase a seasonal pass. As an added bonus, the seasonal pass is valid at most Massachusetts state parks, including South Cape Beach in Mashpee.
Parking: 400+ spaces
- Daily (MA license plate) $14
- Daily (Out of state license plate) $40
- Season (MA resident) $60
A daily fee or Massachusetts state park season pass is required to park at Scusset Beach. For more information and to purchase passes visit:
